Scope
The World Congress on Interventional Therapies for Type 2 Diabetes is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary forum where leading international experts will conduct a critical review and discussion of the latest research findings on metabolic/bariatric surgery and novel interventional therapies for type 2 diabetes. The signature design of this congress includes state-of-the art review lectures and debates among clinicians, scientists, and policy makers.
The overarching aim is to craft an agenda of research priorities and health policy initiatives and discuss how the study of gastrointestinal interventions may improve the understanding of diabetes and provide direction for future treatments of curative intent.
Target Audience
This Congress is designed for professionals in the fields of endocrinology, diabetes, bariatric/metabolic surgery, cardiology, epidemiology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, family medicine, pharmacology, nutrition, basic science, and public health, as well as allied health professionals, policy makers, and scientists from the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
